My Philosophy of Education
Education is building a community, future, lifestyle, and a doctrine. It decides the way the students think, do, or act. Rather, it builds their ambition, creates their morals, forms their personalities, and it chooses their beliefs. How can a person grow without education? Education is the food of the brain, the human will acquire it definitely, either through schools, or homes, or perhaps through society.
I believe that education aims to aid the person to cope with life's troughs and downs. In other words, education is the reason behind monthly income, or even getting the desired job, and it is the reason behind the behaviors with various people or life problems or even the psychological status… Education can provide knowledge, and knowledge can provide power, while power can change reality. Thus, education is essential for human beings, especially in this current century.
Education can be done through many creative and wonderful methods. I see the better method is the method that reinforces the student's willingness to learn and motivates him to seek knowledge. It’s about programming the inner brain to be curious and lover of knowledge. My favorite method is to show the students the right path from one side, and giving them the overall freedom from another side, this can help them to be responsible and hard workers at the same time. Such a method can encourage students to search for knowledge by themselves, and it provides them with the fundamental awareness, and make them endure the consequences of their faults, rather than to be just obliged to the instructions and dependent on the guiders. Furthermore, I advocate the integration of modern and technological methods in teaching for a suitable environment and better efficiency.
Teaching curriculum should reflect the supreme human values in the learner’s character. educational material needs to be characterized by integrity, respect, peace, loyalty, power, local traditions, and dignity. For example, curriculums that praises foreign languages or foreign states or special kinds of people - regardless their significance- and neglects the mother language or native land or relative people, are -without doubt- unsuccessful curriculums. Students should have positive thoughts against themselves, their own families, their nations, their tongues, or even their moral standards. If we check the current teaching materials we will get frustrated, there is no one single mention for any native scientist or native philosopher, instead, they mention scientists and thinkers of other countries and nations. Such a way of teaching will inculcate a lack and illness in the thoughts of the student. At the end, the aim of education will fade, and students will adopt these foreign issues, and they may give away what distinguish their native identity, instead of seeking to improve their nations to be the number one in the world and the inspiration for the other countries. Every success begins from the inside first, even if the reality shows that there is no hope.
I believe teachers should be friendly with students. Their main role should be to advise and encourage students to endeavor in the sake of acquiring more and more knowledge and experience. It is impressive when you see a teacher accept and debate a student's opinion and thoughts. However, students as the primary sponsors for themselves and their lives should struggle in the sake of their futures and their welfare, and not depending on the teacher or school or any guide.
For the truth that I have not any teaching experience yet, everything I mentioned above is just an expectation of educational life and teaching.
